Sebelum memulai permainan, kita diharuskan menyusun Battle Deck dan membuat strategi agar bisa memenangkan pertempuran. Karena karakter-karakter yang hadir lewat kartu di game ini juga hampir sama dengan para karakter yang ada di game CoC. Ada juga beberapa karakter baru seperti princess, knights, dan baby dragons.
Sama halnya dengan COC, kita bisa membentuk sebuah clan bersama dengan teman-teman agar membuat suasana pertarungan antar pemain yang bisa menjadi panas.

GOLD – Use it for searching multiplayer battles, buying cards and upgrading them as well.
ELIXIR – To be used during battles to drop troops and buildings from your selected cards.
GEMS – Wasting them on unlocking chests, buying gold, buy cards when you’re out of gold, opening chests instantly, and all type of impatient tasks.

Chests
WOODEN – Never ever found after your tutorial ends. Only found in Free Chests then onward. UNLOCK TIME – 15 Seconds.
SILVER – Found most often after every battle. Contains some gold, and 4 cards. Found in Crown Chests. UNLOCK TIME – 3 Hours.
GOLDEN – Mostly found when you defeat someone with more trophies than you or sometimes randomly. Contains a penny or two more gold than Silver Chest’s gold, and 14 cards along with 1 rare. UNLOCK TIME – 8 Hours.
MAGICAL – Found very rarely, or when you reach next Arena. Contains lots of gold, with 41 awesome cards, 1 epic and 8 rares. UNLOCK TIME – 12 Hours.
EXTRAS – FREE CHEST – Receive it once in 4 hours. CROWN CHEST – Receive it once in 24 hours when you score 10 or more than that everyday.

KING’S TOWER: The King’s Tower is the most important tower in a battle. Don’t let the enemies get to it. If it is destroyed, you lose immediately!
